Van der Veer Institute
The establishment of Van der Veer Institute for Parkinson's and Brain Research was made possible in part by a generous bequest by local businessman Mr Cas Van der Veer to the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation (CMRF). The primary purpose of the bequest was to support research into and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
