This Fellowship is intended to help launch the career of an individual who will in time make significant contributions to some field of health research
I am passionate about my research at the Christchurch School of Medicine & Health Sciences and am keen to pursue my cancer research career in Christchurch, specifically in the genetic basis of cancer and the downstream cellular effects of cancer-causing genetic mutations. I am also very keen to see research findings developed into clinically useful tools for the benefit of patients where appropriate. I beleive that Christchurch fosters great research and clinical interactions, providing the ideal setting for the translation of research findings into the clinics. I am eager to continue to contribute my search endeavours to this enviroment.
