Specific Objective(s)/Aims for this research.
What specific objectives will this research achieve? How are these linked to the Outcome(s)
Fast and technically simple methods will replace some or all of the long and expensive HPLC methods used in betaine research;
An international comparison will resolve long standing uncertainties in the interpretation of the definitive test for trimethylaminuria;
We will define which organic acids and other small metabolites that can be quickly measured in urine by NMR spectroscopy both for research and as a new diagnostic service.
